Any issue with the spot on the running board cracking from the stress of the cable flexing all the time? Can I get a close up pic of how and where you mounted yours?
I have been searching for and watching videos on scratchers, cable style and also spring style, where they have been mounted and the different brands available.I believe I will likely end up going with cable style but the location to mount them is still being decided. The most popular place by far...
I am looking for a bag that fits on the seat rather than tunnel. I have plans for the tunnel and don't want to sacrifice the space. I was looking at a bunch of brands and types and saw Choko has one specific to the YamaCat sleds. Unfortunately the description doesn't say how the mount,on the...
I am searching for opinions from those that have put one of the aftermarket LinQ adapters on their Winder and which one you used.I have seen the Up North Technologies one and the Whiteout Technologies one so far but I'm sure there may be others.I'll be using a singe mount for an accessory fuel...
I'm sure I have not been the only person to notice how little room there is between the bumper and the chassis on the Winders, and I have talked to people with these sleds that have wanted to change the rear bumper to one that allows more room for a gloved hand.I understand the Cat bumper is...
Those that stud their sleds,do you run the tunnel guards as well as the exchanger ones too? I started stocking up on my to do parts for the fall and have my studs and exchanger guards now but have the front hose protectors on the yet to buy list.My gut instinct tells me to get the tunnel...
I overheard some guys talking the other day about having their gauge readout "flashed" to change the temp gauge from a bar graph to a digital number readout. Is this a possibility for the Yamaha gauge?
Luckily I still have warranty until December on my '19 SRX and my list of things to be fixed just got one more added. Are these thumb warmers elements that cheap that they only last a few seasons? My sled only has around 7000 kms on it and it's burnt open. I checked it this morning with my metre...
I'm making my list of things to do over the summer to my '19 SRX and studding it is tops. Is the T Cat and Winder guards the same? Price wise are they comparable? It seems as soon as that tuning fork logo gets added to the plastic bag the price jumps for a part that's otherwise identical from...
What is everyone using for bags on their Winder? I don't want to put anything on the tunnel to save space for an accessory fuel tank so I'm thinking sadddlebags and possibly a tank bag.
Anyone have the actual color code of the blue on the seat cover panels on a '19 SRX? I'm in need of a repair to the seat on mine and in order to do it proper a new lower piece would need to be sewn in and would like to have a color to ask the local upholstery shop for.
Can't ride right now with the lack of snow so been watching videos and ran across some on suspension setup, which is where my question originated from.I wasn't sure if the traditional way to set up skid and front end sag applied to this chassis is all.
Hoping to get out soon but the lack of snow in my area is not helping matters. Traveling to the snow was my intention this weekend but a change in our Covid designation has made that possibility almost out of reach. Have to wait and see.
