Either Yamaha seriously overestimated demand for Sidewinders, or the have a lot of sleds hidden until fall.

Can and a good clutch kit goes a long way on the Viper.

Depends on what you want and what you think a good deal is. Are they free, no, can I find a lot of Vipers for between 8 and 10 and Winders between 11 and 13, yes.
