MPS steering form BOP. Two thumbs up!

There is only one Snow Tracker for Tuners, and it is not designated as aggressive or semi aggressive. It seems to be similar in performance to the semi aggressive Trackers on single keel skis.

    Snotracker Installation Curve Ski

Almost anyone who has tried Trackers has come away a fan. I think all the bad press comes from their competition. Unfortunately they don’t make Trackers for SLP skis, and I am thinking about swapping to Curves just so that I can have Trackers.

    Which Carbide On Mohawk Skis

I have the Mohawks on my 2016 XTX, and I put 8" Bergstrom triple points on them when they were new. They held the trail like a freight train on rails, but I got really tired of the steering effort required to ride the sled. Even though I shimmed the skis, the darting was sometimes annoying...

Need suggestions on Phazer vs. Nytro

For what it is worth, I went from a Fusion 600 to a Vector, the same 1049cc engine that is in the Nytro. At the time, I remember thinking that the performance was very similar in terms of acceleration and speed, just that I really loved the smoothness and torque of the 1049.

Need suggestions on Phazer vs. Nytro

My grandson had a Phazer GT, and then an XTX when he was 14-15, and he loved them. I am well over the 220 mark, and I rode the Phazers and found that they were a lot of fun to play with, but they were not comfortable for me on an all day trail ride. The Nytro is going to have more power and...

New Viper owner looking for helmet advise

I have not had direct comparison experience, but I currently ride the Castle X-950 with an electric shield, and I am very happy with the helmet. I have run several different modular helmets over the years, and I have never been totally happy with any of them. Most recently I had an FXR Fuel...

    Code U0132

He rode it for 150 miles yesterday with no complaints, but the trails were pretty smooth. Things may change when the trails get roughed up a little.

    Code U0132

Thanks everyone. I guess it’s good news that it’s not an engine issue, but bad news if the fix for it is on back order. At least he can still ride it.

    Code U0132

My buddy ‘s 2019 Sidewinder LTX LE just started throwing a U0132 code. I can’t find it any where re the Sidewinder. I did google it and there was an automotive code that matched relating to suspension. Could it be his electronic suspension? Has anyone had this code? Thank you in advance!

Will there be a 2021 Venom next year?

"Venom" or "Enticer", I think that it is in the cards that any new sled will be the Artic Cat Blast with Yamaha decals on it. Personally, I would rather see it with a Phazer or other lightweight 4-stroke engine, but it most likely will be AC's 2-stroke, which will make it more affordable, and...

    Cold start information

Here are my fuel choices at the pumps where I ride: 87 octane with 10% ethanol, 89 octane with 5% ethanol, or 91 octane without ethanol. Any thoughts on which of those three would be the easiest to start up in cold weather?

    XTX is garbage on trails.

I have a 2014 and a 2016 Viper XTX, both of which were really front end heavy. The 2014 we bought used, and the previous owner had tightened the limiter strap, which didn't help. I have now installed Bill Mohr's heavier weight spring on the center shocks of both sleds, and adjusted preload on...

    XTX is garbage on trails.

That is an interesting observation about the 137" sleds, and I think I understand. How I ride my 141" and how I ride my 137" are totally different, especially now that I have lightened up the front end on the 141". My 141" really does well on the trails, but I have to be a much more active...

    XTX is garbage on trails.

I am pretty sure that if you put enough preload on that spring, it will lighten up your front end. I suppose other factors could prevent it from working, for example, if your limiter strap is too tight. If you start a conversation with Bill, I am sure he will help you get to the bottom of the...

    Off to Maine for season

That's okay, keep ranting! I should be retired, but if I want to live in Maine, I have to keep working. The taxes on everything are ridiculous.

    XTX is garbage on trails.

It looks like your avatar is a Delta Box sled; I don't know if the spring works as well on those sleds as it does for the Pro Cross. For me, the problem was that the starting point for when you begin counting turns was pretty vague. I thought I followed directions and then made 4 turns, but...
