I think I just broke 11,000 last week in Quebec but had to ride a doo to go get the trailer. I think the bottom seal let loose and I didn’t know. The chain started skipping so I tore it down in a hotel parking lot to adjust chain and was good for another 140 miles and it started skipping again...
Mine did the same thing in Val’Dor a couple years ago. It was -35*F it started hard but it started. I needed to give it some gas to keep running and I think the added RPM pushed the oil by the oil filter gasket, the only year I used 5w30 too. I still have the roll over valve in it to this day...
I got to tow a new 900r yesterday. The guy said it just shut off like he hit the kill switch. His dealer talked him through a couple things but nothing worked. I really wanted to take a pic for my ski doo buddy but the guy was older and very nice.
I’m looking for someone to rebuild the qs3 center shock off my ltx le. It has moisture in it and froze. Even just a fluid change, it is still charged. I know everyone busy but would like to find someone to do it today and don’t mind driving and paying top dollar. I had today and tomorrow to...
I just put the anti movement washers on my roller bolts and can’t believe how much it quieted down. My primary has 9400 miles and was loud. The shoulder of the roller bolt and where it meets the clutch definitely have some material missing from banging back and forth but these took up the slack...
I noticed I was missing a roller while going through the sled, I think it was a hytorque roller from td. I bought new ones from cat and started taking out the old ones when I noticed the clutch was cracked. This must have happened on the last ride last season but I didn’t notice. It doesn’t look...
Ah ha. My sled was a dealer demo with 700 miles when I bought so I never saw the original heat shield, it was changed before it got to me. The thing seems beefy. So I need the inserts that go in the holes, anyone know where to get any? I’m betting I’m out of luck.
Not sure. Looks like it will bolt right up, I’ll check tomorrow. I’ll have to rig something up to take up the space in the holes until I find out what the hell this is.
I bought this used at a local snowmobile shop but it isn’t the same as a stock one. This one seem heavier and different bolt holes. Anyone see one like it? I need 3 new inserts, looks like it made out of something like sos pad
Looking for a used or new mid pipe heat shield. I got 10,000 miles out of the original but the eyelets finally came out of it. Don’t really want to spend $200 for a new one but…
