You most likely have to get insurance. With anything stored at dealers (boats, ATV's, etc.) there is usually a disclaimer about requiring your own insurance (at least at the ones I've dealt with :)).

Exactly. Don't really understand how hard it is to keep a list of people that had their orders cancelled, and make sure they are prioritized for the new orders. They have all our info. Would take about 30 seconds to do that match.

Similar story from my dealer, i.e., he cannot get an update on how the reservations/orders are being processed. This was as of yesterday afternoon.

I also ride with one finger on the lever. Had to adjust a little bit with the sidewinder though, as with even a bit of pressure the brake light turns on, messes up the person following me :)

o.k., I rechecked, and it's sitting there as a pending transaction from Mar 22nd. So not an actual charge yet. I saw that last week and just assumed it would become a charge.

Same here, crickets. I did however go back and look at the confirmation on the web-site (not the email), and it actually says "We’ll email sometime in the next week to confirm your reservation is converting to a deposit or that we’re moving you to our waitlist." So I think we might be waiting...

I'm trading my 2021 RS Venture in for the SRX I just oredered. So there will be one at my dealer once the SRX comes in.

Yup, looks like some models now have "waitlist" under them, while others still have "reserve". Pretty clear which ones were the popular choices!
