Ah. Got it. I was thinking you were going to add to stock Viper.
One added bonus to the Viper is the front mounted radiator and heat exchanger in front of drivers vs Sidewinder front and rear tunnel heat exchangers.
Not worth investing that money into a Viper IMO. Sell the Viper while the market is hot and use that towards a Winder. Your looking a $9k CAD for a 400hp Hurricane kit plus rods, pistons and having it built vs flash and some bolt ons. And then there's resale if you ever think of getting...
I would perhaps look for a another verification that this is correct just to be safe. I was facing a possible complete engine rebuild of my Viper engine this spring and in all my prep research this was the conclusion I came to. Just want to make sure you are safe before starting.
As long as #3 is set to TDC the cams will determine compression vs. exhaust stroke. Sounds like you have the cam markings correct so you should be good to go.
Arctic is a great one. I just wish they made something similar that was wind/waterproof like the Arctic but open faced. I've never had a problem with goggles fogging so I'd like to keep my mouth open to talk, drink.
Nope you were right. I didn't word the thread very well. I've edited it. I am using the Titan Helmet and the CKX Titan balaclava with it. I do have a good neck warmer I tried with the Titan balaclava but found the combo too hot and too bulky. I'm going to take a chance on the Ski-Doo...
Does that OSP have an O2 sensor bung? I know they got rid of the O2 sensor on later models. My '18 doesn't have one. Just thinking out loud but maybe that's why some got a code when they attempted to run an orginal flash with no O2 screwed in????? Wouldn't be an overheating code though if...
These clutches definitely rattle but not squeal. How was the belt deflection once installed? How did it sit on the secondary. If not belt issue take the primary cover off and inspect the spring and check if arms moving freely.
This design works really well. I had to be pulled out of the bush at the end of last year and I have a similar setup. This doesn't put stress on anything and allows you to steer as you get pulled along like a frozen loser. Sorry I think I used my outside voice instead of my inside voice on...
Going on second season for my Titan Helmet. Changed jacket this year and find the CKX Titan Balaclava lets a draft in now because it's too short.. oh and it's super tight. Wondering what others had success with?
I still want to keep an open nose/mouth so I've narrowed it down to a CKX...
Hey Andy. Thanks for the info. Well I sent the Kompound back. It was really nice but really meant for more off trail stuff then I will ever do. It would have been fine for trail riding but I'd have to layer and plan for weather and I'm too lazy for that. Lol. Going to either grab a...
I just got a Polaris this fall and have been playing with the Ride Command app and this is my understanding of the best way to use it offline:
- Create a Polaris Ride Command account and download the app to your phone/device
- Launch the app and choose the Snowmobiling icon (top right corner on...
UPDATE - The message I posted above was from early yesterday morning by OFSC. During Ford's announcement in the afternoon he indicated all snowmobile trails would remain open during the lockdown. This is a portion of OFSC's updated statement on their website:
"Given that physical activity is...
