I would prefer the hotel with the least expensive cancellation policy as the winters have not been in our favor planning past trips. January dates are fine with me, ride 2 days in Cranberry and return to Gordon's Saturday. That way I'll have Sunday to ride back to my house if snow conditions...

Believe it or not I don't wear socks. My boots are so warm with any type of socks on my feet sweat and then they will get cold.

Another thing we may want to keep in mind is I believe the weekend of Jan. 15-16 will be MLK holiday weekend. Seems most hotels feel they need to jack up the nightly rates starting Friday.

I'm down with any of those dates. Maybe we should try to do it in Jan., snow permitting as probably a better chance for me to host a Marathon TY ride late Jan or in Feb. If you have parking room we could leave from your house Gordon. Otherwise are we allowed to do overnight parking at Mapledale...
