    2005 vector overheating fast

Well I did open the cap 2 miles from ending that 70 mile ride to check out the coolant color and the next morning when I went to use it I opened the hood and noticed I didn't tighten it all the way and it was loose!! Hence the air introduction!! And no the coolers aren't heating up!

    2005 vector overheating fast

I've changed the coolant multiple times already but never inspected all the fittings! I'm going to try the front end lift shortly and if that doesn't work I'll start tearing it apart!

The service manual says the rear end but I remember years ago we did the front end lift too! At this point I'm ready to try the front end lift again!!

    2005 vector overheating fast

No i didn't run it without a stat! I'll be looking to make sure the hole lined up. If all else fails I'll rip the entire coolant system apart to figure this out!! Would it shoot coolant out the back bleeder hole like 6 feet if the pump wasn't working?? I think it's just trapped air I can't...

    2005 vector overheating fast

The hose leaving the thermostat assembly is soft while the one leading to it is hard as a rock under pressure making me think maybe the thermostat stuck shut or something. Of course they want $50 for a thermostat!

    2005 vector overheating fast

Ok went for a 70 mile ride on Friday! Sled ran good! Went to use it to get to my ice shanty on Sat and the temp light came on with the symbol and got warm! 2005 vector starts running bad under wot under load

Carbs cleaned at dealer and I changed the filters today! Pretty easy job! Here's a pic of new vs old filter! Ran sled 12 miles up the lake and back so far so good but a long railroad grade will tell for sure!

Hole in crank case behind primary clutch

Yeah Yeah the case isn't worth doing! If the JB weld doesn't hold the sled will get parted out!

Hole in crank case behind primary clutch

After looking I'm not sure that is a replaceable case at all! Might be part of the main engine housing. Having a hard time pegging it down on the parts fiche! Anyone know for sure??
