Got an engine lamp with a code 81 out of the blue today. Looks like the fault codes that used to be posted in this forum are gone now. Saw on some other forums that this might be an open or shorted hand warmer. The warmers seemed to be working fine.
I do have maybe 1/4 slop in the steering. Haven't gotten around to trying to fix that as it hasn't been getting worse and the fix seems pretty involved.
I have noticed that my sled is really loud. Can't figure out if it is just the normal Venture Lite loudness or something bigger. Guess there is only one way to find out.
I'm guessing this could be done without taking the skis off by drilling pilot holes from the top using the keel blade as a template? I wonder if my ski loop would fit over the new bolt and nut sticking up on the top. Have you seen the instructions for this anywhere online? That would help...
Hmm, this seems like a really good idea and would likely have the same effect as shimming the skis. I'm not clear how you would mount one with an existing carbide. Looks like the bolt would have to go through the same hole that the front carbide bolt uses. I haven't found any descriptive...
I just contacted Accord and they did say they would work with Slydogs. Also found this http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-034-Snowstuds-DOUBLE-DOWN-Carbide-Dual-Runners-Curve-XS-Slydog-skis-C-amp-A-CA-Pro-/311057915154
The only reason I haven't ordered them yet is your comments Moose. Did you actually...

Are...
I have maybe 100 miles on these skis. I would say there is a slightly noticeable increase in darting compared to the stockers. I have not had the opportunity to try these skis out on deep snow yet as we haven't had that much this year in my area of the LP of Michigan.
Sometimes when I get on the gas after slowing down to almost a stop, I get a squak when I get back on the gas. A check of my belt this summer showed no noticeable wear. What would this noise indicate?
Can someone post the technique to flip this block back and forth. I struggle to do so with my hands. The manual says something about a tool. What does the tool look like? Can I substitute something else?
