    Plugs

What does it take to get them out of there? I've unbolted the coils from the engine but they don't seem to want to pop off. Don't want to pry too hard.

Technique to get rear hand warmer covers on/off

Bought the aftermarket relay. That will solve the problem.

Technique to get rear hand warmer covers on/off

With the help of some Ajax for lubricant, I was able to shift the one piece of foam cover that had shifted down back into place. Next step is to install the aftermarket relay for the rear warmers to see if we get some nice heat.

    Copper donuts

So I'm taking the gas tank off to change the plugs. How do I know if I need new donuts? I'm assuming it will be obvious.

Technique to get rear hand warmer covers on/off

Also what is the technique to get on RSI style grip over the heating elements tightly so that it doesn't move once installed? Is it a shrink type thing where you apply heat?

Technique to get rear hand warmer covers on/off

Where have you seen the wrap kind? I don't even know what to search for to find that. I've seen stuff like that to wrap around a gun stock to kill the glare....

Technique to get rear hand warmer covers on/off

Element wraps around tube and is covered by the foam. I think the new part from Yamaha costs $25 each.

I imagine the fluid flows only through the vertical slats....?

What do you all think about how this radiator looks?

Not sure what hit it. Hoping this is superficial. As far as I can tell, it doesn't leak.

Technique to get rear hand warmer covers on/off

One of them is pushed down and I can't get it back up to where it needs to be. The heating element is exposed.

Technique to get rear hand warmer covers on/off

I need to replace the rear hand warmer covers on my Venture Lite. This is the part number: Cover 8ET-24796-00-00 http://www.yamahapart.com/oemparts/a/yam/5003c6a6f8700212fc842d8b/seat They are sort of a foam thing that goes over the bar. I don't see how they would slide over the bar very easily.

    Where are the spark plugs?

Is there a tutorial on removing the gas tank? I've have my sled home for the summer (you all will be seeing a lot of me here) and need to replace my plugs. I would imagine the gas has to be drained somehow.

    Venture towing capacities

I just had to tow a dead sled with my Venture Lite 7 miles. The dead sled did have a rider on it for steering and braking but had its belt off. My question is if I should now think about replacing my drive belt after that? How do you know when you should replace the belt?

    Hayfax melting

Just noticed that I have quite a bit of melted hayfax residue on my track clips. I was out for a ride with my wife and we did have to ride on an icy road for a bit. I've also considered that my track might be a wee bit tight. How tight do you all like to have your track?

Method for de-icing a venture lite?

After a very cold 125 mile ride last weekend I have a ton of ice on my VL (probably 50 lbs). I'd like to get rid of this extra weight but have no heated garage or barn. Has anyone had any luck covering the rear end of the sled with something like a tarp and letting it run and heat up under the...
