Buddy was losing primary rollers. Discovered belt strings got into his stubshaft bearing and that bearing was messed and caused failed rollers. Thats the theory anyway.

Wife and I had each about 10 000 miles on our sleds. Hers looked new. Mine were shot. You will see wear on the teeth if there is wear.

A friend of mine had his fail, seemed like strands of belt got in there and forced the bearing to move in deeper, and adding side pressure to the bearing. Bearing was shot. He was constantly blowing primary clutch rollers.
