Since adding a tune and more HP yes gear up a bit. You want your rpm in 9000-9100 range so adjust daltons as needed. As far as overall clutching lots of info here do some searches.
It’s likely not repairable. Parts inside likely not identifiable on purpose. Unless someone has taken the time to figure out? Would be nice as they do fail.
Always harder to get back on. Ideally need to take more stuff off and out of the way to get cover on. We are always looking for the easy way and turns out to be the hard way lol.
If you have decided on a 1 inch track everything about the Hacksaw is better in my opinion. The things already mentioned and the Hacksaw is a bit better in the snow in my experience. Now 1 inch tracks suck in the snow but I mean if comparing the 2 and more interested in top speed.

Yes the are on eBay. Also seen them at my cat dealer. Seem to be CVTech brand or made for CVTech? But don’t seem very popular as can’t find much info on them. Just wondering about them waiting for snow lol.
I think you are correct. Just a rumor I picked up at a Cat dealer, as of yesterday they seemed optimistic? But that further announcement yesterday is not good news.
Head studs really good idea at 17lbs and a must above this I would say? I think stock head gasket is fine if not damaged before putting head studs in. Of course if going to fully locked waist gate this is a different game, heavy duty head studs and o ringed head works well i hear.
