Hi all,
Have a Phazer RTX which I purchased used and was previously studded.
The sled has OEM Yamaha dual runner skis with 1-6" (inside) and 1-4" wear bars.
I've since removed the studs and it seems like a lot of carbide for a smallish sled.
I typically run Bergstom triple points but doesn't...
My desired use is just to load the sled onto my trailer, mounting outside isn't an option is it is too wide but far as I can tell the wheelz interfere with the A-frame on the inside
Hi,
Doing my end of season maintenance and have a loose wheel.
On disassembly, I found that the outer washer is worn (fastens wheel/bushing to alum block).
The OE washer is cupped.
Anyway to find the PN of the washer? Perhaps the info included in the kit has the PN?
Thanks.

Interesting, I disassembled the primary when I cleaned it. I didn't notice any wear though. I have to travel to snow so my opportunity to investigate is limited. Seems like I should replace the rollers & weights and go from there. Thanks.
Hi all,
I have a 2016 RsVector XTX with just over 7000 miles (purchased from an older gentleman @ 5800 miles).
I've had Yamaha sleds for ~40 years and this sled had noticeable clutch noise between 4-5k rpm. No noticeable performance issue, just a minor rattle.
I thoroughly cleaned the...
Well, the TPS diagnostic tests good. Smooth operation 15 to 97 - no skips, jumps or jitter.
Does this test adequately cover the voltage output as described in the service manual or it is that the next check to perform?
Thanks.

I have a 2016 Phazer RTX that I purchased used. Sled starts and idles fine but hesitates when I feather the throttle and try to engage the clutch- it is worse in reverse.
I haven't noticed code 84 but seems likely that the issue is related to the Throttle Position Sensor.
I haven't opened the...
What is the best way to get service manual type information for a 2016 RsVector XTX?
Looking for torque specs for the clutches and the clutch side bearing cover.
Thanks.

I'm not sure if the engine is changing -- the tach is shifting ~300 rpms back and forth at maybe 15Hz and I think the lower value is accompanied by a slight growl, nothing bad just different - it feels like the sled is holding back during the growl yet it runs just perfectly at more normal...
Thanks. I blew out the clutches with compressed air prior to the season but not since. I mostly notice the issue in town or when meeting sleds on trail. Once the tach reaches 5k it completely goes away and works perfectly.
Hi all,
I have a 2016 RsVector XTX 1.75. I bought the sled with 5800 mi and have ridden ~900 miles this season.
I have noticed that at slow speeds (20-29 mph) the clutch makes a slight chatter (feel as much as hear) and the engine tach varies back and forth about 300 rpm every few seconds. I...
Hi all,
I'm in the process of purchasing a 2016 Phazer RTX.
I have pretty good familiarity with the 2007 model but have not kept pace with changes and improvements over the years.
Is there a post which captures the changes that Yamaha has made to the Phazer since being introduced?
Just want...
I am using MAPP gas, hotter than propane but not acetylene. I have not taken the tube to red hot nor have I cold shocked the tube, I'm a bit of a newbie in this area :(
I've been soaking the tube in a tub of penetrating oil, but that is horizontal so gravity is not working for me.
I picked up...
The two rear linkages on the 07 Phazer GT I recently picked up wouldn't take grease so I pulled the suspension apart to investigate/repair. I was able to get the longer shaft freed up by applying heat but the shorter shaft is completely seized. I've been soaking the linkage/shaft in...
Looking for a windshield bag and the tool bag that tucks in the front suspension.
Looks like Yamaha has stopped offering and not finding anything on the web.
Any thoughts were I might be able to find these items?
Thanks.
