2025 SRX RPM Loss and Stall

Sounds like clutching to me. Knock could be due to low rpm load.

    Medium sport windshield

Broke a sport medium windshield this weekend and it looks like you can no longer get it. Part number SMA-8LR96-21-SM Anyone know a good alternative that will work with the mirror kit? Maybe a cat one?

    1,000ft

FYI - I paid 450 for a very low mileage 14 Viper clutch recently from Blunders. It was actually for one of our vipers as the previous owner must have went the same exact speed and it got a groove in the sheave. Gives you an idea for price for a good unit though. (Less than 1k miles)

If you go to the apex clutch check your alignment again. Some found it's the same while other like myself had to add a shim behine the secondary. Blunder should have one. https://kingblunderenterprises.com/

    Quiet Bump Shaver

Great! I posted that back a few years. Some don't mind studding through the quiet bumps, but it bothered me. :) https://ty4stroke.com/threads/tools-to-make-studding-easier.148774/

    Dalton black/orange VS Dalton black/tan

Yeah, I'm not sure. Just pulling from old notes when I was trying a bunch of springs. I'm sure Knapp will chime in.

    Primary spring Question

Someone else can help you more than me I'm sure. Just remember the primary and secondary fight each other. Making a change to one has an impact on the other. For example... Let's say your secondary is way off and does not open at a reasonable rate. (Stiff spring with high degree wrap) Your RPM's...

    Primary spring Question

lighter twist will lower rpm but also decrease side pressure. I doubt you are actually slipping the primary, but I'm not an expert. I'd go up and down 10 degrees on the secondary and see what belt temps tell you. As for Dalton.. They have a nice chart on their site that is helpful to compare rates.

    Primary spring Question

Sounds like you are close and have a belt temp gauge. Why not play with secondary and watch belt temps? Keep in mind any changes will change RPM. Weaker primary spring = lower rpm, but so does same primary spring and heavier weights. I'd increase and decrease the secondary by 10 degrees at a...

    Primary Sheave Wear

Yeah, stock 8JP. Bought the sled used though so anything is possible before we owned it.

    Primary Sheave Wear

2014 Viper with ~4k miles. The movable sheave has some wear. I'm surprised with the lower miles but it's clearly wore. How much is enough to really affect the shift? This is my daughters sled so don't need top performance.

    Non-Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator

Hmmm so why mess with an adjustable regulator? Somehow is self adjusts for ~200 hp difference?

    Non-Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator

That’s what I don’t follow. At the same pressure how is more fuel delivered?

    Non-Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator

I see Hurricane offers a pump upgrade with a new regulator but it's not adjustable. They say it's good to 500hp and is designed to run at stock pressure. I don't follow the logic. What am I missing...

Yeah that's why I was asking how you did on snow. You must have made a bunch of runs with the snow we had.
