are you running mcx megasquirt based piggyback? or a standalone? pretty sure you are flooding your spark plugs because of a bad mapping at idle or stepper motor bad setup.
On my impulse kit, i re located the map sensor close to the turbo so it won't freeze....it happen to me several times(frozen map sensor) the one located in the nose of the sled close to stock ecu was the problem for me.i sealed the front headlight, installed prefilter paper on grills ect...but...
if at 1/4 throttle it is fine than opening the throttle is become lean then obviousely, your fuel box is not dumping fuel on boost so your map sensor is not reading any boost.......probably moisture in hoses freezing or map sensor frozen.....99% your map sensor is freezing or moisture in hoses...
if you go with a doo track, avoid slushy lake or water or bring jesus with you!!!!the multiple holes in the track make you sink like a fataly attacked destroyer........100ft on open water and you are done.
I have repaired it with a heat gun and some drywall(plastic) screw........simply heat the pastic and the screw and once hot, approch both side of the cacked plastic together and press on the screw with the plastic.........excuse my english, i'm limited when explaining a repair like that!!!!!
