I have an 06 rtx apex. Put the woodys slim jim doolys on...WOW, who needs power steering??? Night and day difference with stock skis. Rode all the 2014's last weekend and the only sled I liked was the apex. I'm keeping mine til she's nfg!! Woodys doolys aren't near the carbides as the dooly...

I agree, a little push is safer, you just have to adjust your riding. Woodys slim jim doolys 6" on stock 06 apex rtx skis, no steering effort...feels like power steering! No darting, but a little push in the corners. I'm 260lbs and love these carbides.

Doolys have 2 long host wear bars, slims are built up on a channel so there is Alot less contact point on snow=super light steering,but a little more push in the corners. Sled is an absolute blast now!!

Completely happy with stock skis and 6" woodys dooly slim jim, feels like power steering,nodarting,precise. Awesome on trails. Too narrow for deep powder.

Marhyde. Did my 06 rtx 5 years ago, no peeling at all! Clean seat thoroughly with brake cleaner several times

Did you check your ground block links in the wiring harness under airbox?

I would just eliminate the black plug, mine had no corrosion at all, it was melted, just a bad design. solder wires together to be safe.

Correction, buy a 1" bearing and bore hole to suit

I fixed mine as follows, remove the lower block assembly, bore new larger 1" hole in the plastis part, go to local hardware store and buy a $5.00 3/4" oil lite bushing, cut in half lengthwise and remove any burrs. You might have to spread the cut bushing slightly to fit properly. This removed...

1.5" camplast challenger on mine with no issues, completely different animal, loves the powder and hard pack, out runs XP's most of the time and they can't touch me in the powder![/b]

Checked mine today, 3 donuts were gone, only backfired on decel. I am going to cut off half of the tubing/collar on the clamps so they tighten up more!! :o|

Mine has been backfiring on decel, took it apart today, 3 of the four donuts were gone !!!!
