Raced 800 moded sled on eagle lake , beat it two races , rolling start, & stand still, they are fast out of the start but after 50mph its over ;)!

Just ordered new 1"predator track (studs pulled through on rip saw). The new name listed is carve #9837H camoplast website , does any one know if the track make up has been updated ( better rolling resistance) ?

Yamaha didn't change the out side body panels enough, (for a different look). If you look at the stripped down pictures of the sled , it will be a game changer with all the the improvments they have made. It will make are current apexs obsolete like the rx1 when the 06 apex came out ;)!

I have had the same results with a stock sled with a clutch kit & plugs, ;)!

The new motor will be based on the o4 -06 5valve r1 motor ,07 would be to late in design of the new sled , they would have prototypes built late 07 . The new sled was ready for production last year ;)! the o6 r1 was rated at 175 -180hp on 91 octane @ 12500rpm , lower compression (87...

Check your antifreeze mixture, I think my sled came with straight antifreeze from the factory, mix distilled water in until the mixture reeds -45 on the scale.did this to three apexs , haven t had a over heat problem after adjusting mixture on two ltx s & 121 apex" with out the extra heat...

That what i was saying, I have raced stock apexs and beat them by that much, It Just makes you wounder how close it would be ;)!

Watching the stock vs yamacharger video, a apex with ram air , pc3 , plugs & clutch kit would be within a sled length of the yamacharger , i would like to see a video from the side, for a better look

If you look up 06 r1 (right around when they would be designing a new sled) its rated at 175- 183hp at 12500 rpm on 91 octane,minus sum compression to run on 87 octane, would be 170-175 hp ;)!

It would be a better sled all around (speed & handling) or he wouldn't have taken the (new) stock sled out against yamacharger apex on supertraxs ride day

All new from the ground up, body style halfway between apex & nitro ;)! Now did we get the 04-05 5 valve or the newer 4 valve r1 motor ? :o|
