I put Slydog race skis on my XTX and they are working WAY better than stock. 4.5" shaper bars and she hold the turns tight! Havent had much chance to run them in the deep stuff yet but expect they will be great there as well!

with no studs I'm thinking/hoping the 4 1/2 inch shaper bars will do the trick. Makes sense that you would need tghe 8" with 144 studs! That should match up well. The snow has started and the skis are going on tomorrow! :-o

Can't wait to put them on and take 'er out for a ride. Got the Slydog race skis in red with black loops and 4.5" shaper bars for my black/red/white '09 XTX. We have a bunch of snow on the way and will be on it this weekend. I'll post some feedback on how they work out after the weekend...

Just picked up my '09 XTX after trading in my '03 Viper. Can't wait for snow!!!! What are the best and most cost effective mods to this sled??? Don't plan to do anything until I ride it but want to start looking around if I can find out what other owners have done that they like!
