I'm just wondering if Yamaha still put the '9s' in the 2011 and 2012s. Did any 2011 owners switch to the '10s'? Where is the best place to buy them and how much per plug? Thanks.

I'm not sure what the top gear is in the 2012 XTX. I'm guessing 22t or 23t. I was wondering if, since by all accounts this sled accelerates like mad, you could go to a larger top gear. And a longer chain I would suspect.

Re: 2013 sled revions Interesting point. But consider if a sled cost $9500 in 06, and the price increased 5% a year untill 2012, the price would be $12124. I payed $12164. And I get power steering , good seat, hand warmers etc. I unfortunately I may get dim lights, slider wear, etc lol...

I was just wondering if anyone had put a taller gear in their 2011. Specifically an XTX. There seems to be a lot of guys saying it will rip your arms off but lacks some top end.

X2 on the left side thumb warmer and back light them. A track option would be nice. Pre drilled, single ply Cobra , 1-1/4" perhaps.

I was wondering how your sliders wore. Did you add extra/taller wheels? What kind of range did you get per tank of fuel? Looks like they made the tank a little smaller again. Can we run the trail tank off the Nytro on these things?

I had an 07 RTX with a rail extension to144" it handled very good on the groomed trails and in the bumps. In the deep snow it was as great as a sled that heavy could be. My 08 LTX, at 136 inches, was not as good in the deep snow and not as good in the stutters. I didn't notice any handling...
