I am looking for info regarding a Klim jacket. I wear a Tekvest and find that and my Klim Klimate jacket too warm and bulky. I was thinking of trying a Klim powerxross pullover non insulated jacket. Anyone her try one? Was it warm and did you find the feel of it OK versus a normal type zipper up...
Yes it will work BUT! you have to do a few modifications to the sled. You have to remove the front cooler protectors (for clearance) and the tunnel protectors. I did a 136"x2" track swap on my nytro last winter. I also did a drivers swap to extrovert style. If your not wanting to do the mods to...
I also find it easier to change the belt if I set the hand brake first. The like Rooster mentioned..Push on the center of the helix and rotate the back half of the sheave as you push in. Go at it once and you'll see what we mean
The clocking (play) in the secondary is about the same as in my Nytro. The way you adjust the secondary is a very stupid design by yamaha. You have to take out the bolt in the center of the secondary and remove secondary from sled. Keep track of any shims that may be there, and on the back of...
I went 136 and my buddy went 144. When it gets tight in a trail he has a harder time turning. Not much more but it is noticable I think 144 gets too long, 136 is the perfect length ...
If you have anti ratchet (extrovert) drivers that slack is fine...You may even be able to go a little bit slacker depending on how you ride...My nytro is as loose as that and my apex I always had the track that loose or looser
I own a 08. When I bought the sled it had stock skis and it was a handfull...I swapped out for the new tuner skis, adjusted the toe and reduced some of the ski pressure....Sled rails around now...
When I did the 2" lug on mine I went with the extroverts... Only reason I did was because I got a great deal on them...Try it with the stock drivers.. Guys say you should and in 2010 they installed extroverts on the sled from the factory..
Here is what I found using this product....The rail extension is OK. Just OK.....Not a finished product. I used Muffin works ones before and the quality was so much better. The tunnel extension fitment was terrible..I had to fight with it to try and get it to fit right. Not even any holes in...
Well here is an update...I read all the advise given here. Bought a set of tuner skis, went with a 2/4 carbide combination....set toe, and adjusted the compression and rebound down to its lower settings 2 compression 1 rebound. New sled!!!! Now to do the tunnel and rail extension with the 2"...
Have the opportunity to buy a set of Simmons Gen1 for my 08 Nytro. Will they cut down on the twitch, shake, hold on for dear life,O.M.G I'm gona crash feeling
I am going to be using 8 tooth extrovert drivers..What is the largest lug I can install with the front cooler protectors in place and what is the largest I can run if I remove them
