How about CAI or stock airbox? Is it worth the extra $200?
My BTX is completely stock, and I can't get the front end up at all. I have the AC 190lb center spring and limiter strap all the way out. Also I did change to MTX gearing, but not much different. Hoping the 270HP SM SS will make the sled...
I'm planning on getting the 270HP SM SS before next season. It would be nice to see exactly that (270HP SM SS) in my cluster like the multi flash bundle
If someone did go and buy a tune from any of the companies mentioned, how would one know if they got the right tune? Does it display the tune on the cluster on start up?
Do anybody have a video of a sidewinder running 3’’ Sandale Hyperflow Exhaust on the snow? I know its going to be louder then stock. Is it just annoying or is it a sound you can deal with. I’m not a trail rider more of a backcountry rider. But I don’t want something that I have to use earplugs...
I wasn’t going to say anything but....
I think Yamaha are glad that just a simple tune can add up to extra 100hp to the Sidewinder.
Just think about what Chris Burandt has done for Polaris. And none of his sleds are stock. He and his modded sled are one big reason people buy Polaris sleds...
Ever wonder if you could talk to the right person in Yamaha, who would they recommend to tune your sidewinder. I would think they have a preferred tuner in mind.
