I ended up going with the Curves and 6" carbides. Can't wait for the snow to hit around here. The skis look awsome in the box, can't wait to see them attached to the sled and give them a try.
I do mainly trail riding, but looking to be able to go off trail. Mainly looking for something that rides/ floats better than the stock skis and is easier to steer.
I have a 2010 Vector LTX GT. I am looking at possibly changing out the stock skis to something different. I am looking at either the C&A Trail X or a set of the Curve XS. Anyone have an opinion on those or other brands that I may want to look into.
You will be just fine replacing without having to remove the skid. Just have to jack up the back end. Should not take long after that, then enjoy the longer life from your hyfax.
I currently run an HJC helmet with the heated shield and love it. I have not run into any situations where the cord got in the way with it left outside of my coat. Don't think I will have a helmet without one in the future.
