    05 Grizzly won't shift

Fixed The primary clutch was packed full of mud. I had to strip it down, clean everything and put it back together. Works perfect now. Cost: $32.00 for the proper Yamaha ultramatic clutch grease. :D

    05 Grizzly won't shift

I am having clutch problems with my 05 Grizzly. The belt got wet, I pulled the plug and drained all the water. Everything seemed fine driving slowly on the trail. When I got out on the road, my grizz would not shift out properly and would only do 35Km/H without over reving the engine. I...

    05 Grizzly lift

I am looking for a lift kit for my 05 Grizzly. The cheeper kits only lift the front. How do you lift the back to match? I know that you can flip the rear wheel bearing mounts, but is that the best thing to do? Has anyone done this? If so has it caused any other problems?

Whats' the best type of lock for trailers?

Your right Spray. Mine has to me locked at home at least for the trailer hitch pin and ramp, thus they have to work out in all weather conditions. I also use WD40 periodically to help prevent against corrosion. So far so good with the yellow Master locks.

Whats' the best type of lock for trailers?

I am using the covered Master locks with no problems thus far, but they are obviously not working for you. Maybe I'm just lucky thus far, but being from MN it certainly does freeze here. I use three of them on the trailer (2 for the clamps and one for the ramp) and a triton hitch pin lock as...

OUCH!! Learned a hard lesson this weekend!! THE HARD WAY!!

The most important thing is that you are OK Brian. Glad to hear it. I hate to hear these type of stories, but they also remind me just how quick things can happen and that speed can kill and all to often does. We know these sleds are fast and we seem to have a need to find out just how fast...

    Windshield Bag...fogging up the Speedo??

I have the windshield bag and have never noticed any fogging of the speedo yet. The only fogging on the windshield is directly adjacent to the bag. It may just be ice or snow I'm guessing, but have not checked as it is not causing any vision problems.

    I"M BACK!!!!! 300 miles in the U.P.!!!!

Great report!! I will be heading up to Houghton this weekend. Looks like some fresh snow to make the trails even nicer. At least that's what I am counting on. Hope to see a few fellow "Yamahoppers" (as my polaris friends call them) up there. I kind of like the name myself. :)

    RX-1: Would you buy again?

In my opinion, the RX-1's are the best sled on the market for what you are looking for. I bought an 03 shorty and just love it. I did a great deal of research before I purchased and can honostly say I have not been disappointed one bit. I too primarily do "aggressive" (but safe) trial riding and...
