Since I bought a used sled with the ESC, it is my first experience with broken wires.
My question is, why didn't they make the harness and solenoid pigtail wires out of heavier gauge wire with a thicker jacket ? :o|
Not sure I would fix it again, probably a different shock would be in...
Thanks snowman,
I did download and print that before I started the install.
Don't need the expense and aggravation again.
Thanks for the heads up.
Looking forward to my first ride on my new to me 06 Apex GT next week.
Shock working great now
Installed new solenoid yesterday, working great now.
Thanks Brian LaLaLa
After pulling the solenoid, discovered the wires were broken right at the cap inside the jacket. When I bought it the wires were broken half way between the plug and solenoid.
Thanks Super Sled,
Ordered new solenoid, hopefully that will fix things. As for the cushy ride, that will work fine for me, I am not an aggresive rider (65+) bought the 06 Apex to replace my 98 V-Max, which is NOT cushy.

The solenoid is definitely dead, no ohms. Guess...

Faced with replacing the solenoid, would I be better off going with a different shock package ? Hate to replace the solenoid and find out the problem is in the ECU.
Appreciate your advice and...

I have not tested the solenoid yet, which I...
