Thanks snowman,
I did download and print that before I started the install.
Don't need the expense and aggravation again.
Thanks for the heads up.
Looking forward to my first ride on my new to me 06 Apex GT next week.

I would still highly recommend a shock revalue even though you are not a hard rider you will find that it will be the best money spent, I love my revalue.

There is no 100% fix. That damn wire will break when you have ice build up and hard riding, even if you route the wire that way. EC owners that haven't broke that wire yet are just lucky......

After I routed it and used 3 times the zip ties and kept an eye for lost ties mine went over 10,000 miles with no issues before I sold it. You just can't let the wire get loose and build up ice.

there should be a sticky for this problem under suspension in the apex frequently asked question section.

Hey bjowett/ other Ohlins experts:
Has Ohlins ever made a steel solenoid with a steel braided 1 piece wire (the connection is a weak spot) all the way through the tunnel? It then might be strong enough to survive in that tunnel.
Or anyone want to create one? ;-)
Or else I'm just having bjowett make my Ohlins Mono shock into a clicker after the riding season is over......
