Figured it out, 1 broken wife in sensor connector

14 was on all day yesterday 200km 13 came on today, air intake pressure sensors. Little hoses are on and clear. Connectors are clean and dry. I would think odd both sensor would go bad around the same time. Any ideas. Thanks

On a FB group a fellow explained that if belt is too tight it happens on deceleration when primary opens up. All cogs rapidly are forced over the center of primary and wear evenly, I never thought of that.

I flipped belts inside out to show wear on the ridges. There are black scuff marks in bottom of secondary. Top is new middle is new with 100 km bottom has 500km. Is this a spring issue, need different position or different spring? Its a 97 vmaxx 700 but uses same clutches and belt as 4 strokes...

Just checked chaincase and it's filled to opening and oil is milky. How could this happen. If bad seal is would think level would be down from leaking not over full. Last season I changed it and filled to proper level.

Why doesnt yamaha use a clutch similar to their grizzly ultramatic clutch. They are bulletproof and never wear out belts. The primary does not spin at idle, it relies on a centrifugal wet clutch inside the engine. Ive heard of people getting 30000km on original belt, I have 13000 hard km on mine...

Just a FYI, if you get these codes it is likely the coil connectors, can't buy through yamaha but they are common on Ford and Mazda vehicles, I just replaced mine codes are gone, working great now. Should be available at any auto parts store. They are called S819 connectors.

I am getting another code 34 last time the culprit was a bad coil connector. 34 is cylinder #2 which side is it. Last time I had code 33 and 34 so replaced both with old ones from a nytro and it was fine for 1000 km. Ford and some Mazda cars use the same connectors.
