cant remember specifically wasn't a hard rider back then been about five years cant say much for springs might just be able to turn up spring preload not a major night and day difference to me just want to keep broken part from wearing out more
Mine broke sounds like same place got mine 04 warrior welded by competent alluminium welder held up well till I sold the sled took most of sled front end on that side rubber boot and anything else that was in the way and could melt took out ecm just in case big job would hold off till end of...
cut some off tankbag had rehemmed happy with fit and look know 10 bucks to have sewn fits much better now and fits on original snaps and was real easy to do
did my oilchange on my 04 warrior 2 hrs took screen out of bottom of oil tank first time [recomended here!this forum ] some stuff on screen 7000 mi.rest of oilchange went well but very time consuming kept sled oil spill free till I took off filter and of course oil spills under engine and out...
OK did the apex seat mod on my 04 warrior with lots of support from this forum,now realize my old yamaha tank bag fits like poop! does anyone got a fix {bring to trim shop to cut/ resew ?or do I have to buy one for an apex or just jam my camera and everything into my new found seat trunk...
I agree with 03-rx1 even if you use 2 qts your still cheaper than the 2-smokes oil my 04 with 8000 mi uses qt synthetic every 1000 mi. as long as its not excesive oil use i'de leave it alone IMO
rear heat exchanger
put a pioneer perf. on my o4 warrior when new would flash temp light in hard pack or low snow cond. after putting rear exchanger on hasnt flashed light since only thing is if light comes on for temp usually means slides arent getting enough snow too IMO
just did my 04 warrior rear skid a few weeks ago ordered everything separate through a dealer GOT HOSED wish I knew about the kit then definetly would have saved some$$$$$
