Stretched out my '03 to 136" and would like to eliminate marginal snow cooling problems, seems I remember a thread about installing a rear heat exchanger from maybe a warrior? also saw an install of an apex radiator in the front/side, what's better, easier, cheaper, what parts are involved, what do you guys recommend? thanks

Thanks for the reply. What will I need besides the cooler? Different hoses or brackets-clamps ?

Nothing. The cooler simply connects where the crossover pipe connects. If you get a kit it will come with a template and the rivets.

I bought a rear cooler from Pioneer Performance which came with detailed installation instructions. It was easy to install and definitely improved the cooling.

rear heat exchanger
put a pioneer perf. on my o4 warrior when new would flash temp light in hard pack or low snow cond. after putting rear exchanger on hasnt flashed light since only thing is if light comes on for temp usually means slides arent getting enough snow too IMO

put a warrior rear rad on my apex mountain..had to do a little mod..and the snow is always hitting it..works great. dont forget the scratchers..they work..everyone I ride with use them..and never see heat. .even had some Johnny sceptical try with them up..and they did have the light come on..

Just did the Radiator on My 03 RX and it was slightly harder then adding the rear exchanger but I like the idea of having a fan cool the coolant over hoping there is enough snow to cover exchangers all the time. I dont use Ice scratchers so the radiator made more sense to me.

I went with the cooler but then the studs tried to chew it up so I fab'd thicker protectors but then the suspension bottomed on the protectors.
So I removed the exchanger and added the Apex rad. No more work to install really and have not had an overheat since.
Either or will work!
