I am going to go over the kill, but what came to my mind was that if it was faulty, you wouldnt think the gauge lights would come on. With the kill down, there isn't any power anywhere. Seems to be something in the key switch..or some kind of solenoid or relay somewhere thats sticking...bad...

Have another buddy to help you put the drive shaft back in. I did it last weekend by myself and I found it hard to hold the track up and slide the shaft in. Sprockets were catching the track...track was heavy.. Would have been a lot easier with another set of hands... Also, Tighten everything...
