To TTW After I looked at the YAMAHA brochure I realized my problem does not apply to you. Maybe its just the RS venture but possibly also the vector that has the plastic guide wheel where the torsion spring lays right behind the front outside boogie wheel that will slip up do to its design

I rode a T660 turbo touring Cat and the track on that is 99% quieter than the RS Venture. Whats up with that? The cat has a lot more boogie wheels and they are rubber.

I also think the track noise on the RS Venture is excessive, especially between 40 and 60 Mph. I've had six different year Polaris touring sleds the last one was an 03 800touring and after the recall for the rear wheel kit it was pretty quiet at speed when you had the throttle in the sweet spot
