Nope, haven't played with it too much going to check it out though once I get the heat shields together and the sled started up again to see what else is going to go wrong.

Missing gasket could be the cause of the problem. Lame you can't get them without buying the metal parts as well. Are they necessary to be put in? I notice on Rob's white lightning photos he doesn't have them installed... Got the materiel from the Arctic cat dealer in town. The code 84...

When I was going over the sled I found bits of the paper looking shield, and the bottom paper shield was broken a part. That's why I looked into getting this insulation stuff as it looked like there was supposed to be some material on the top and bottom between the metal shields and the exhaust...

So I finally got my sled together put back together today after installing my front bushing kits, changing the oil and filter and going over everything and making sure everything was good. I turned the key and got a Code 84, then I turned it over and got it running, took a bit to get going...

Thanks for the info, took my secondary off to get at the bearing to give the bearing some love, now that I have the secondary off looking at doing this tomorrow. Is there anything I can do to the primary maintenance wise? Is there a write up some one has done?

I tipped it on it's side twice since I've got it, hopefully not a common occurrence, going to clean the air filter and the box and clean up all the oil. She's dirty cause she looks like this right now, oil is pretty low after taking the front end off and changing the filter... Just waiting...

I've been taking a part my 09 Phazer to get ready for the season and took a part my air box and found there is a lot of oil inside. The sled is new to me and pretty sure there shouldn't be oil in the air filter? Also in the second picture notice the oil coming out of the cylinder? is this a...

So started pulling everything apart to get it ready for the new bushings and oil filter change while I got it a part like this anything else I should be looking for? To change the spark plugs do you have to remove the gas tank? Looks like I have too... Also have a look on the left cylinder...

Thanks for the reply's. I'm going to be using the sled to go up forest service roads to go skiing with, almost like a mountain sled without trying to hill climb and high mark. Hopefully get up to some pretty high elevations, although at a logging road grade. I'll check out the OFT blocks too
