Will I notice any difference? 0 -1000' sea level, Vector Mountain. I am looking to have more low end to be able to lift the front end a little more for boondocking. Will there be much of a down side other than a few MPH?

For those of you who want to see how much cowling needs to be modified here are some pics of what I did. Don't forget that the windshield needs some serious modification also.

Pro - I did not rejet, although it seems to be running rich, I can usually count on a backfire pop when I shut it off. I have not checked the plugs yet, but it is on the list, I would rather have it too rich than too lean.

no pic, but I can tell you on an 05 Vector it was about 1-3/4" wide x about 3" real easy with a dremel tool. I am not anywhere near the sled, and I won't be for a while, sorry

I wouldn't do it if you want to stay married. You might try one of the adjustable ones, but I would not cut down the windshield.
