Dropped the skid to do some work and now I am trying to figure out what is the easiest way to get the bolts back in the drop bracket. I can do it compressing the middle shock with a clamp, but I would like to know how it is done without having to resort to long bar clamps, incase I need to move the skid to a lower hole on the trail. Thanks for your input.

If you still have the factory transfer rods on it try loosening the bolts on the bottom of them to give it some slack. It takes a 14mm wrench to get at them, Ken.

if the vector is the same as the RX-MTN. Lift back of sled up and onto stand. Then you turn the black plastic hoops forward that the coil springs slide into (behind the lower idler wheel) pop the spring out and over the wheel. Susp is sloppy loose now and you can bolt it up. Then pop spring back over wheel and turn hoop back up.

As Culvert said. Take springs out of the holder to relieve the tension this will allow you to push the rear arm forward. It is a pain either but with two it is alot easier

Culvert - Thanks, I did not know those hoops moved, I thought they hold the springs from popping off. Yes I will use this method. Thanks again. This site is great

I am waiting for a new clamp before I fire it up. I ordered a Flo-Pro 3012ST 12" case glass pack, I am very happy with the way it turned out, although a little more work than I thought. Here are some pics. Rather than cutting adapter off the old exhaust I modified the new pipe to look like the adapter of the old. See 1st Pic. I did the rest how Kachess recommended in his post. It is a great upgrade, saved some weight. I will post pics of what I did with the under seat area soon. It would be an easier project if I didn't get sidetracked with 6 other projects.
