I'd play it safe with Port Yammi...tell them you want the RED relay and I'm pretty sure you can run standard 40a fuse...I'm assuming you meant amp, not watt....
I searched that part number on eBay....you're right there were no results, instead it displayed the INCORRECT 8HG-81950-09-00...my bad...I'd check local dealer, then reach out to Port....

I was able to convince dealer there was an issue, they replaced it under warranty...I'd check ebay first, then dealer....I buy a lot of my stuff from cyclepartsnation, but it's a local pick up for me (no S&H)....I think it ran under $30....

I have a 13 XTX, replaced fuel pump relay w/ new red relay kept old one (black) just in case....mine was the very first in line (front) out of the four under front hood...I carry an assortment of mini, glass and regular fuses...just to be safe and help other riders out...same with #*$&@'t zip...

I keep having to replace the two hooks that the torsion spring goes through. They seem to be "sacrificial". Is anyone having the same issues and/or any fix actions?
I have 2100nm springs, Hygear torsion spring spacers and Schmidt Bros anti-bottoming kit.
NITRIS: Reached out to Yamaha Tech Support-The new RED relay (8GN-81950-00-00, Ref #27 in 2014 fiche) will replace all three relays (except headlight). The Red Solid State Relays were designed to withstand the colder temperatures. You should not have to replace all three because as earlier...
