Nytro fuel pump occasionally does not work

I have an 09 Nytro. I went fishing this morning. It was -25. Sled started fine. Drove 8 miles to my fishing spot. About 2 hours later, I tried to start the sled and the fuel pump did not turn on (I can always hear it when I turn the key on). Engine just turned over but would not start. The yellow light was flashing and the check engine light was showing on the display. I checked all the fuses and nothing burnt out. I disconnected the battery thinking the ECU might reset, but still no go. 2 hours later the temp had risen to around -15, I turned on the key and the fuel pump turned on and the sled started and worked fine for the rest of the day.

Does anybody have any idea what went wrong? Kinda bothers me to go far away now not knowing if it will start or not.

Agreed, replace the relay with the new solid state relay. Mine started all week in Maine, down to zero F.

Replaced the relay in my Nytro with the Solid State on and the pump would not go on when it was -30. I still had to warm it up. Same problem with a new Viper.

Solid State Relay
