I had the GenII's on there when I bought the sled....I found the handling (sidehilling, deep snow manoevering) HORRIBLE and put a set of stockers back on. Love it now.
I know. I've been going since waaaaay back. Big Iron has been replaced with the far more responsible Yamafest....but this is the weekend all the turbo Pros, Xm's and all other hotrods will show up to play.
Not a lot of mountain riders from this neck of the woods on this forum eh? LOL. Well for some entertainment value, search up "Yamafest" or "Big Iron Shootout" on Youtube to see what this event is about. Lots of big HP Turbo Yammys.
So who is headed to Yamafest in Revy on April 6th? My riding pard and I will be there....want to test out the long-track Viper turbo by Boost-It. Should be goooood fun!
I like my TS skid as well. I ran the Fox Floats that it came with for a few rides, then went to the ZBroz X1 for the rear and this is a FAR superior setup.
OK...that info might be correct for a single fixture...but a LED bar or cluster still works very efficiently and has much more light that 1500 lumens. Even the little 6"SR bar has 3200....the 10" in nearly 4000 lumens. The new RZR UTVs come with LED lights and they work very well.
Not sure where this "heat story" is coming from....I run LEDs in my RV as they draw about 1/10 the power and are cool to the touch all the time. I also have a Rigid LED on my quad (I had a 10" on my Outlander and now a 6" on my Renegade) and same thing....cool, cool, cool. The 10" Rigid on my...
A horrible story for sure, but the safety product that would have saved him isn't a 1/2 inch of crappy padding on the bar/riser, it is a Tek Vest. Tekrider
Here's my risers...granted, not a trail sled. TY thread
Wait until the moutain boys get a hold of the new Viper....174x16x3 track, front-mount turbo, leave everything else stock....should be a LOT lighter than a fully done up Nytro.
Pretty stocked about the new upgrades. was out two weekends ago to Revelstoke and had a GREAT weekend (see vids in pics and vid forum). My sled had Fox Floats all around when I got it. I had them all re-valved and re-built for my riding style and weight and it was better, but the rear shock was...
It's called apples vs oranges dude. You think a new Nytro with a factory super will cost less than a new Doo? Come out west and run a few of the E-techs with aftermarket breathing....see how well the Nytro does. That would be apples to apples.
Saw that sled last weekend in the owner's shop...
Just wondering if there is a "general range" where everyone sets the CO. I understand the CO sets what would be the pilot circuit on a carbed machine and therefore really only affects idle and warm starting. My machine has always seemed a bit blubbery at idle (IE if you let it sit and idle for...
