my thoughts were adding an inline marine style fuel primer bulb. between the tank and the pump. this is exactly how a Yamaha marine carbed 4 stroke engine is set up. as for as a check valve, yes it has one inside, if it didn't you squeeze it and it would pump back into the tank. i see no reason...
Vornec, im thinking Yamaha marine, the dealer might have some advice. its worth asking. If you get a chance to try it before me , let me know how it works' thanks

ok, i will look into this no start after storage posting, but the idea of blowing on a fuel line is just too funny i will never hear the end of that one, once my none Yamaha buddies hear of this.how about an inline marine primer ball? that would do the same thing.
thank OS

just did my 06 venture, one was totally missing the others half gone. went well. used the new copper rings. paid to much for my parts at the local dealer but needed them asap. only thing that slowed me down was cutting the old clamps off with a dremmil tool. nice and quiet no rattling.
i called two dealers about the exhaust rattle both said its common, one quoted me parts plus two hours labor, the other parts plus 8 hrs labor. big difference. i have taken the track off before and added tunnel protectors to the tunnel myself i know its a big job. does dealer a know a short cut...
Hey MF,
its an 06 and i checked they are non adjustable (no offence taken) wonder if 13 adjustable s would fit the 06? You noticed how low the 06 bars were too. she drove a couple times, i tried sitting back there they are kind of useless.
hey, i have found that the rear handle grips on my venture two up are two low for my wife to use. when she uses them she ends up pulling her shoulders down and ends up with a sore back after a short time. anyone ever found higher aftermarket grips? any help would be great. thanks.
p.s. im...

Started my 06 up on the trailer a few weeks back , difficult start and noisy. metallic rattling sound up inside the tunnel i thought. shut it down. thought it might be some kind of exhaust heat shield rattling. after reading all the posts it sounds like a chain rattling over an engine ceasing...

hey,
i did some repairs to my right suspension, my ski saddle was bent and worn (previous owner) after fabricating a new saddle and installing it along with new suspension bushings sleves and bolts i noticed my right ski was now pointing toe out. i adjusted the outer steering tie rod to...
hey, glad it helped, i took a second look at my dimention i posted and the one you posted. my 1/8 may have been an over estimate. 1/16 per end seems more accurate.
Best Regards
oh ya scared the crap out of me too. thought my sled was trying to eat its self.
ok, i figured it out. i followed the reverse lever linkage until it became a vertical threaded adjustment rod. i loosened both nuts with a 10mm wrench. one is left hand thread the other right hand. i then adjusted the threaded rod by hand, a finger adjuster is on the rod. i lenghthened the rod...
hey,
when i put my sled into reverse, sometimes it wont engage it gives off a grinding sound. i looked and i think the linkage can be adjusted to enguage better. any thoughts? thanks
