Can't tell you exact measurements but can say Yamaha's suggested numbers are too tight.

On my Vector, I believe I am around an inch to an inch and a half free fall in the middle?

I get zero ratcheting at that measure and I don't have extroverts.

Try yours until it ratchets then re-adjust.

The Book Says...Raise the track and using a scale, pull down the track, 22 pounds at the center. Track deflection should be 30 to 35mm. (1.18" to 1.38"). This setting would be the setting for your Venture . I feel that this setting is way too tight. I set my sled at 1.5" at natural sag with no problems.
