Where are you guys mounting your fuel controllers. Do you mount them out where you can see them? Installing a Yamaha SC kit and don't know where to put it. Thanks
I just installed new bars on my 10 MTX. What do I use for handwarmers. I went to get some aftermarket ones but that are all 3 wire. Not sure where to look next. Thanks.
Where is the best place to weld in the bung for the Air/Fuel gauge? I read just before the muffler but not sure if that's correct. I have an undertunnel setup that I came up with on my own. Pictures and or help would be great. Thanks in advance.
I have searched this a few times without any luck. I am looking to mount two gauges on my 2010 boosted Nytro. I want a nice clean look. I can't find a thing anywhere. Please help. Thanks in advance.
I have bent my stock bars pretty good and need to upgrade. I am curious what any of you have done for bar upgrades. Just trying to get some ideas. Thanks
I just got back from my last trip north for the year with my 2010 Nytro MTX. Trails were rough and ungroomed for the last three weeks. Rode a mix of trail and I guess they call it "off trail" as I have learned recently. My sled sucked at trail riding so much we managed to only ride 300 miles...
Purchase what you want and do not let others try to convince you otherwise. If you are unsure find one to try out. Only you can decide what is best for you to spend your money on.....after all, it is your money! I would be glad to let you take a rip on mine if there was enough snow left for that.
On an average season I ride about 600 trail miles and probably 1500-2000 off trail miles. The majority of my trail miles are just from either riding from my truck to camp, camp to truck, or from my camp to the next off trail location. I started off trail riding in the 80's with my 1987 Phazer. I...
I had the same issues as well. I just replaced the relay on my Yamaha ROV with a lower amp relay and all my stumbles were gone. Mine was doing the exact same thing.
My sled is cutting out on me when I hit the throttle hard. It was suggested to try a lower voltage relay on my ROV to see if it helps. I will be trying this tomorrow.
I have the yamaha one on my nytro. My only issue was the kill switch itself failed. I replaced it for 10 bucks. I prefer the kill switch style that is with the yamaha one. They are a marine style (Jet Ski) and easy to replace and get additional tethers around my area. However I am going to try...
I was afraid of that. Probably the clutch kit just makes the issue more noticable. Which fuel controller works best for a nytro? I amn planning on a super charger for next year so I need to factor that into my decision.
First the sled details:
2010 Yamaha Nytro MTX 153. Yamaha roll over valve, Bender Heel Clicker Clutch Kit, Yoshi under tunnel exhaust, stock fuel system.
Sled was hitting the rev limiter hard even with the low elevation kit installed. I ordered the Bender kit and installed as per their...
