Mighty, The only difference on the GSX is the rMotion suspension is in the 2014. Your correct about the 2013 being a great buy. When you consider resale the difference may be less than it seems.

I've ridden the 2013 doo 1200. It's very responsive and the new clutching system make it seamless. I owned 10 Yamy's and all of them are grabby in the clutches compRED TOO THE 1200 DOO. tHE DOO IS REAL FAST ALL THE WAY UP.

Yes, I've owned two of them. Yamaha's marketing hype that they are adjustable for one up riding is a plain lie. I finally got my 2012 setup great for one rider by changing the stiff as hell spring to an older venture spring. It now has a rear suspension.

You have to soften everything to the max. This s;ed was setup for two up riding period. I replaced the rear spring with a older model venture rear spring and it's a completely different sled. I have some othet posting on the site on this subject if you care to search.

We've tried them all. Our vote is for the runnning board mounted version.

My reports say conditions are marginal all over the UP. Some rideable snow around Greenland but who wants to go over there for one day ride?

Scott Berstrom has helped more customers solve darting and ski handling problems than anyone esle in the industry. The ski guys don't like the fact that he's fixed OEM junk skis with his products. Just my opinion, and I may be wrong.

I've owned two pairs of Curve skis running Bertsrom triple points with shims and skisavers. They performed great! Also, I've run most of the aftermarket skis and found both Curve amd Slydog the best performers.

I'VE OWNED TWO OF THOSE SLEDS AND THEY DO NOT NEED AFTERMARKET CLUTCHING.

I've owned several GMAX Modulars. They work great. I never wear the face mask. My glasses fit well Too. I had a problem with the electric shield on one and they promptly replaced it no charge. We run in real cold conditions with no fogging or frost.
