The first oil leak by the separator but this time I'm 100% sure its from the hose going into the oil pump. Now its leaking from between the oil tank and chain case.

Yamadog, i noticed the sensor on the pipe before the can isn't there. if its not hooked up will i have a code show up on the display?

I can't find the MPI exhaust lol would be nice to hear it too.

I wanna get an aftermaket exhaust can, price don't matter. who likes what? I'm scared the stock can will blow, no problems yet just want t be safe.

When your guys starter quit, was the gear inside gone too? Do i have to worry about that gear? 8FA-15515-00 thats the part # i'm worried about.

Thats a very good question there Tim, I was thinking of putting high temp silicone. I never gave it a try i just cleaned it and hoped for the best.

If you don't take it off and take the water out its just going to go into the oil tank and into the engine. Would be a lot safer to to take it right out clean it and change your oil and oil filter.

It should take about 2 hours to take remove the oil seperator and clean it out, I use a little bit of brake cleaner and let it sit for about 30 min and hasn't leaked any oil ever since.

Theres a oil separator between the engine and the exhaust canister. I don't know how snow gets into the pipe that goes into the air intake. When snow gets into the oil separator, lets say overnight, you start your sled up in the morning, during warm up it melts the snow, nothing happens during...

So when the new mapping is out and I put in a new starter that new starter shouldn't go?

Where is the starter located on the viper? Mine is gone just under 500 miles.

The check valve is located between the exhaust can and MAG side of the motor, quite a bit of water came out of the check valve box.

Did that sled have the problem?
