Are we sure the sheave halfs aren't balanced individually?? I would think if they don't mark them with line up points, they are EACH balanced as a separate unit and it wouldn't matter how they were reassembled.

Umm, well check around before you jump all over a guy. Dual runner skis are recommended BY THE MANUFACTURER (came in my setup instructions direct from Simmons) to be run with ZERO toe. If you can't tell the difference with 1/4 in of toe, your sled is out to lunch. 1/4in. is a BIG difference...

Dual runner skis should be set strait-up, ZERO toe.

Yup, synthetic helps a lot. My 03 RX1 sounded like the valves were coming out the top of the motor if started below -10. I now run Mobil 1 0w30 and at -20 it rattles for maybe 2 seconds and then quiets right down. It's just lack of oil in the top end until the oil pump can get it up there...

Takes me that long just to get the freakin battery box back in and not pinch off any wires :o|

If you can get your hands on an electric buffer (like for automotive paint) you can buff them right out. Done it several times before on helmet shields, goggles, cd's, headlights, etc. Depending on how deep they are you may have to wet sand them out with like a 2000 grit paper first, but light...

BOSS will build you whatever you want in terms of height and firmness. Great quality and a fair price. If you order now it'll be a month atleast before you get it though :~(

Yeah, 6 - 8 is about what we got here in N. VT, but that's not anywhere near enough to cover our trails. We need a couple feet to make everything smooth. The railbed is our only smooth trail and it's already down to rocks and it's only been groomed once this year :o|

Agreed. Maine and NY isn't much better by the looks. We're all frozen up here in VT now, but not near enough snow cover. Rocks, stumps, etc all over the place. Glad I bought an Enduro!!!
