Is there anything out there that you can use to polish a helmet visor? It's just got some small scratches mostly from wiping snow off.

I don't recall where I got it, but I have used a product for aircraft windshields. May have gotten it at the local small airport. ie. one short runway and 6 planes a day.

Try plexus. I dont know if it will remove the scratches but it should make it better. Its more of a polish / cleaner. I use it on my sled and windshield and it will remove some but not all scratches. Also used it on my visor a few times and it did the same.

You should be able to get some at your local dealer.

If you can get your hands on an electric buffer (like for automotive paint) you can buff them right out. Done it several times before on helmet shields, goggles, cd's, headlights, etc. Depending on how deep they are you may have to wet sand them out with like a 2000 grit paper first, but light ones will buff right out good as new.
