I buy a new sled every 2 years because of the miles I rack up. Since my 2007 Apex RTX I've owned a 2010 1/2 800 E-tec and I'm currenty on a 2012 Rush 800 LE. Both have been great sleds but I've always been Yamaha at heart. I'll be in the market for a new sled next season. I'd like to own another...
Just got done reading a review of the new 2011 Apex. Saw the pics. Now it's all been removed...what happened???????????? Did Yamaha call up the site host and make him remove it?

I noticed in the link posted by fixahonda that the patent for power steering shows it mounted on an Apex. All the drawings are of an Apex, not something new. Maybe they purposely did that so they wouldn't reveal the look of the new sled. If it's just power steering on the Apex, I'll have to...
I know there is an aftermarket manufacturer that makes the same kind of crush rivets used on my sled. Just can't remember where I found them. They came in a bag of 100.
Skid is in. Because it's not the expert x but the older version called the expert, it came with steel bodied shocks. The ride is much better but it's very under damped. After putting in a call to AD Boivin, I discovered they had some nice used aluminum bodied/rebuildable shocks for it. So I will...
