I have had extroverts on my sled since after its first winter. My sled accelerates like crazy but the top end seems average. Does it definately kill top end? Does the mono ratchet easily I forget? I did run my best top speed without them.
Sounds like fun. I tried to find more info but had no luck. Is there a schedule of events? How long are the radar runs? Do you have a lot of guys going?
Is anyone riding this weekend. I am looking for a daytrip and maybe a radar run or dome good racing. Believe it or not this is going to be my first ride!
You also have to consider that the smaller link that connects to the a-arm is going to start to pivot more to horizontal as the suspension is compressed which will make it crank the sway bar less and less. Like I said before picture moving it to the next hole up the link and you can imagine how...
My brother in law did the gutting first by removing the main pipe. It was a little to loud and droning so he welded the pieces back in and did the swiss cheese mod! it sounds good.
I have never had mine go bad but have had them apart. has anyone tried to take a little material off where the clamps come together so you can get them a little tighter before the clamp bottoms out?
it will run higher on the ice. If you were squirley at the end of the track on one run it is probably just a traction issue and maybe some fine tuning on the clutches. Jason
I am not sure about the sway bar. I think it has to do with the longer link working more linear than a short one. If you exagerate it some and shorten it by another inch to make the results more obvious. As you push up on one side it is not going to crank the swaybar as much as a longer link...
It does sound a little slow. I ran 96.9 in 660 last winter. this was trail studs but good conditions except for the starting line. I do have a few engine mods though.
It will have more ski lift. When the 03 RX-1 came out they had new links available in 04 which were longer to help with the unpredictable ski lift that sled had.
