    correct, the plugs being npt are tapered n crack the boss, wondering on a new casting.. remove the plugs, reseal woth pipe dope or whatever and torque the plugs in place with a possible lighter torque, so after some heat cycles it dont crak again? just a thoght

    thanks fellas il have to pull the cover n see whats going on... i shoukd note this sled has never did this befor, everytime i ride it it gets put back in a heated shop and panels pulled, i check coolent,oil and for oil tank leaks every time! this just happened yesterday,running it pretty hard...

    chaincase leak

    i removed it... i had to cause it was leaking into the driveshaft,didn't take much to pop it out really, cleaned everything well and put some rtv around it and put it back in, waited a day then filled the case back up

    ya its max 17 tune. only got 1 more ride on it wrapped at 70... seemed ok belt was cooler ,i had it at 80 but it tore in pieces, tge offset is good with the washer and snap ring removed behind secondary, nothing is machined off secondary..... mabe ill put it back to 80? idk... im definitely no...

    wrapped it 6-1 ... 70 degrees a tad looser than 80, belt seem to run bout 15 or so degrees cooler at 165 ish , allso sled wasn't as jerky starting off wich i like , never noticed anything different in anything else... be nice to get the temp down to 120 ish mabe 3-3 is the next step , for now im...
