Forgive the stupid questions, but how do you know if the is air in the coolant, how is it removed, and what is the effect of air in the system? Should there be any fluid in the overflow tank? Why do some people flush the system with distilled water?

I have two spacers(90387-2013L and 90387-20015) and an extra idler wheel. Can this be used to add a 4th wheel to a Nytro? The kits I see online show 3 spacers so I dont' know if I have all the parts to make this work.
