I studded my 06 like you did with the points JUST above the lugs and no problems at all

I had the same problem with my VK Pro. I swapped out the original 5" idler wheels for 5-1/4" and haven't touched my sliders for 4000kms. It's faster as well

I had an 06 VK, sold it in the fall and bought a non current 2016. the new motor is great but the machine is slower than the 06. I really miss the little fabric pockets the old one had that were clipped on to the vents by your knees. The mirror placement still sucks as well. I have the 11" skins...

Lets make it even heavier. Wider skis now too!

Recently pulled my buddies rs venture out of the water. Changed all relays and voltage regulator. Rinsed engine with oil 5 times, drained and vacuumed tank, put fresh gas in. Starts and runs great, but after hard acceleration, it seems to go into a limp mode until rpm's go to idle. Thoughts anyone?

If you look closely at the 2017 website pictures, the mirrors are in a different place than the 2016. They are higher, where they should be. I saved over $1500 buying a non current 2016 so I guess I shouldn't bitch too much.

when I recieved my 2016 dealer prepped vkII, the handlebars were so far forward that I couldn't see the gauges but the cover fit. Lowered the bars and now it's a real stretch to get it over the bars. See my other comments on the 2016 VKII review. Not good. but not all bad either

I couldn't understand why my mirrors were always pointing down and I couldn't adjust. Switched them from left to right and right to left and they're fine now. Are they installed at the factory or by the dealer? Sheeeeeeesh!!!
