2016 VK Pro II mirrors

I couldn't understand why my mirrors were always pointing down and I couldn't adjust. Switched them from left to right and right to left and they're fine now. Are they installed at the factory or by the dealer?

A buddy of mine just bought 2017 vk 540, same problem had to swap. Turns out to be the mindless people that dealers hire to assemble these machines . Also turned out to have an electrical issue with the tail light and speedo light, they installed the handle bars on the wrong side of the wiring harness and chafe thru the harness and shorted. They checked all the new sleds and sure enough all of them same problem with mirrors and wiring harnesses! Makes ya wonder!!!! Cheers!

If you look closely at the 2017 website pictures, the mirrors are in a different place than the 2016. They are higher, where they should be. I saved over $1500 buying a non current 2016 so I guess I shouldn't bitch too much.
