I found that the can is only a slight bit louder when idling, but when at mid-to-full throttle, it is a lower louder grumble. I hit 90mph across a couple lakes, but haven't heard it hit the limiter yet, so will keep listening for that to occur. I also noted that the spring was a complete pain...

I realize that this is an older thread, but any update from Zrxpilot or Stingray719 on the results of the can and new belt combo?

So finally put on the mid-sized LTX (maybe crosstour). Thanks to all for the pictures and part numbers, made finding it easy & makes a difference at -25!!

For reference, price difference from American is $16,699 and CDN is $19,399 (Viper Sidewinder LTX-LE) and last I checked the exchange rate is about 1.37 (so $22,877). I'm not an accountant, so that is just my simple math...prices are now on both Yamaha websites

That is the same as what I'm looking at sledgadget, is that the 6606-666 arctic cat model (I think they list it as LTX - which is a mid height). Looks good & your sled is the same colour as mind. I also noticed the cargo bag you had on there, similar to millsteet - how do you find it? Trying...

millstreet - Did you do anything with those front holes near the headlight (any modifications, or did you not have issues as you stated in your previous post with blue & white viper)? Thanks for posting another picture - looks good.

Thanks tapex_07 for the part number, that will help my search!! The windshield looks good and if it deflect that much, it's better than the "toothpick in the wind" that came with the viper! I'm in northern Canada, so our warm days are -11c and cold ones are -29c (I'm too old to sled after...
